Canopy terms of service

Last updated: 5th November 2026

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you (the Shopify merchant installing Canopy Inventory, "Canopy") and Belvia London Ltd (company number 16467413, registered in England and Wales) ("we", "us"). By installing Canopy you agree to them.

2. What Canopy does

Canopy reads your Shopify product, inventory, location and order data (read-only) and shows weeks of cover, projected stockout dates, reorder quantities, cash needed to reorder and related figures. Canopy never changes your store.

3. Estimates, not guarantees

Canopy provides inventory forecasts, reorder suggestions and related figures based on your Shopify data and the assumptions and settings you provide. These outputs are estimates and are not guarantees. You remain responsible for purchasing, inventory, pricing and other business decisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Belvia London Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings. Belvia London Ltd's aggregate liability arising from Canopy in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of £100 and the fees you paid for Canopy during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

4. Plans and billing

5. Your data

Your store data remains yours. How we handle it is set out in the Canopy privacy policy (/privacy). When you uninstall, your data is deleted as described there.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Canopy, attempt to gain unauthorised access to another merchant's data, interfere with the service or its security, or reverse engineer the service except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Canopy available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may make changes to maintain, secure or improve the service. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of a material change that removes functionality included in a paid plan.

8. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Canopy at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these terms, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, or a requirement imposed by Shopify or law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

9. Law

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
